Prof. Nirmal Chandra Dash

Professor Nirmal Chandra Dash (b. 1953) has 45 years of Research and Teaching experience in Anthropology, Population Studies and Tribal Studies. He has published seven books on different tribes. He has guided over fifteen scholars leading to Ph.D., D.Sc and D.Litt degrees working on different socio-economic and demographic aspects of various tribes. Over 150 research papers of Prof. Dash have been published in different National and International Journals. Prof. N.C. Dash is presently serving as Professor Emeritus, Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) Deemed to be University. In this capacity, he supservises Doctoral students.
