Dr. Maninder Kaur

Dr. Maninder Kaur is the Chairperson, Deputy Coordinator of UGC CAS-II Programme, Department of Anthropology, Panjab University, Chandigarh. She did her M.Sc. (Hons.), and Ph.D. in Physical Anthropology from Panjab University, and her area of specialization is biological anthropology (Human Growth and Nutrition, Gerontology). Recipient of UGC JRF (1999) and a brilliant researcher and academic, she has successfully completed four major research projects funded by the Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi. She is presently working on a major research project Association of menopausal symptoms and fat distribution with cognitive functions among rural women of Haryana sponsored by DST, New Delhi. She is a member of the Program Advisory Committee for National Science and Technology Management Information System Program of Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi. She has published many research papers in national and international journals and has also presented research papers at various conferences in India and abroad.
