Prof. Arbind Sinha

Prof. Arbind Sinha, had his Post-graduation in Anthropology and Ph.D. in Sociology from Ranchi University. His area of specialization is communications management. Presently he is Advisor at MICA, Ahmedabad, where he has taught for sixteen years and headed the Institute twice. Prior to this, he worked with ISRO for twenty-two years in the scientific cadre, and later as Professor with TALEEM Research Foundation, Ahmedabad, as Communication Advisor to the Denmark Embassy, Delhi, and the Director-General of Shanti Business School. He uses his anthropological instinct and communication skills for national development programmes. For four decades he has worked with the science-technology-society interface, Interactive Tele-teaching, Development and Disaster communication. For the last two decades, he is working with national and international organisations on strengthening the Public Health Communication systems and serves on several National and State level committees. Prof. Sinha has authored several books, book chapters, and research papers and has visited Sweden, Canada, the US, Thailand, and Singapore on various academic assignments.
